Something to the effect of: "I can't hear you. I have a banana in my ear!"

Tonight I need to get back into sorting mode - take a really hard look at what I do and do not really *need* to have. Most of the easy sorting is done already, so it's kind of elimination rounds...keep paring away. Do it the Flylady way. Pretend you're having to pay to move it. What is really WORTH moving?
We're not moving, but I'm using the moving attitude as I go through stuff. Do I really want to keep moving it around while we're remodeling, when I could just move it once to the thrift shop or the trash?

Woo Hoo, Boromir has come to visit! Even if it IS the Bakshi Boromir, he's better than Janet Jackson! ;o)

The books are the hardest thing. Of course most are replaceable, but...still!
And I'm really wishing I could bring my rocking chair - my really good glider. But that ain't gonna happen, nor am I likely to get anything close to what it's worth in a sale. *sniff*
But letting go has to be good for me, I'm thinkin'!
Should get down to a few boxes of books, clothes, and maybe a few dishes. And of course my instruments, but that's a given!
You know...one really GOOD thing about going in April (if I do) is that it won't be so hot that I'll be worrying all the way about the cat and the instruments if we have to stop for twenty minutes at a time or something. Any later in the year and that'll be a concern.

Is there no possibility that you could store at least some books at your Dad's?
Heck, you could even pack them for shipping and when you get the cash, send it and say "send box #4."
Just a thought.

I think I'm going to stick close to the HH today. Wandered a bit far yesterday, I think.
