Sorry if some one posted this, I looked. We're in a little trouble. Larry King's ratings have jumped so high, just a few days ago Brit Hume was beating Larry King and Aaron Brown wasn't over a million. Lets hope Ted Turner's comments hurt CNN.
MON, JAN. 24, 2005
FNC O'REILLY 2,643,000 [VIEWERS] CNN LARRY KING 2,474,000 FNC HANNITY/COLMES 1,800,000 FNC BRIT HUME 1,604,000 FNC SHEP SMITH 1,446,000 FNC GRETA 1,390,000 COMEDY DAILY SHOW 1,341,000 CNN AARON BROWN 1,058,000 CNN ZAHN 837,000 CNN COOPER 506,000 MSNBC HARDBALL 454,000 CNN DOBBS 451,000 MSNBC OLBERMANN 340,000 MNSBC SCARBOROUGH 335,000 CNBC DENNIS MILLER 81,000
And here I thought I was in trouble last night because I drank the last beer!
That's funny, I don't feel troubled.
That's because he had Ed McMahon on about Johnny Carson's death.
It's better than seeing CNN's Crossfire towards the top of the list.
Who dat 'we'?
Fox News Corp has yet to send me a dividend check so I feel left out of the 'we' in this formulation.
Who's "we"
So, who did Larry King interview? Might have impact on the numbers.
Much like the last slice; "did you buy it?"
Perhaps this was a spot survey from last night. Most shows were doing tributes to Johnny Carson, and as Larry King has more of a "celebrity" flair and focus than news analysis, perhaps that is the reason? Just spouting ideas...
Larry King is not a news show. He is like a Dick Cavet Show or something. His ratings will go up and down each night depending on who he has on. A true news show's ratings should stay relatively stable night after night.
If this catches on they'll have Carson die every night.
My life is totally unaffected by Larry King's ratings. However, his suspenders drive me batty.
correct I'll bet........I never watch King but I did Sunday night and yesterday cause he did have Ed on and had a fairly good show on Johnny......it will be short lived. I don't think anyone that important is gonna die this week
"Ted is understandably bitter having lost his ratings, his network and now his mind....we wish him well" Great commentary by Fox spokesperson LOL
Exactly...he had every old timer on about Carson. People who don't usually watch King probably did this time because of the topic....certainly not King
