I found an old CD of mine last week. It had my most favorite aria on it sung by Maria Calas (Ari Onassis' ex-GF before Jackie Kennedy). It was from "Philadelphia Story."

I get so moved by that song, tears come to my eyes. It just gives Cyber a headache. LOL!

I never saw that movie. What's the aria, Casta Diva from Bellini's opera Norma or something like that?

The word "diva" thrown around awfully loosely these days. It gets applied to any broad willing to do anything to become a "celebrity". Anyway, I think the last true diva was Callas, the voice wasn't always great technically but what personality came through the singing!
