In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs as always. Subbie is also here for THREE days. So you better be nice, otherwise you get coal on your face. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.
This word is pronounced tuk er
Etymology: I dont know.
Verb:
1) Exhaust, fatigue.
I know what naughty words rhyme with this one, so be careful!
Hah! Not me!
I want to see your Weinermobile photo!!!
"Can't wait until I get home."
What a beautiful photo!
Yesterday when I was grocery shopping to counter the liberals' boycott, I saw a cute little clear plastic ball for pets that has a tiny battery in it, so I bought it for Husky girl and Kitty boy. While supper was cooking, I activated the battery and rolled it across the kitchen floor, where it immediately began flashing colored lights inside and making chirping bird noises. Both the cat and dog ran after it and were taking turns swatting it, making the lights flash and the birds chirp. Then they sat down on opposite sides of it, trying to figure out why it got quiet and what it was going to do next. Finally, Husky girl picked it up in her mouth to take to the pile of her stuffed toys in the living room. The minute she moved it, the motion activated flashing and chirping began again, and she dropped it on the floor like it was electrified and backed off three feet or so to watch, cocking her head back and forth. Then when it shut up again, both she and Kitty boy started batting it around the floor again. I put the thing on the kitchen counter out of reach when I went to bed last night-not the sort of awakening I want-they can play with it whileI'm in the kitchen-otherwise it gets put away...
If Barbara Boxer thinks she can take on Hillary, I can't wait to see the cat fight. They are both skanks.
Cyber and only go to one or two games a year that way we don't run out of anything. One game I'm the DD; next game he is the DD. LOL!
BS, Whisa. Baseball players have the best rear-ends in the sports biz.
"catfight"
God, I'd pay good money to see that-shrieking, cursing and hairpulling and slapping-the whole trailer trash bit-maybe WWF would carry it on cable...
The weiner mobile photo is in a box burried somewhere out in the barn!!!!!!!
ROTFLMAO! Good one, Grimmy!
Players of both sports have nice posteriors-I'll just watch both.
Mean mommy.
Our cat looks like your cat only he is grey. The dog is black, so no comparison there. And our dog would NEVER allow the cat to get into his food. Docker, the dog, eats so fast there's nothing left in a matter of seconds.
The other day I had forgotten to give Docker his Prednisone pill. I just handed it to him and he ate it without even thinking. He thought it was a treat. It must have tasted terrible. He's a pig-dog, although we call both animals cat-dog as in the cartoon.
Don't be sorry. That is really good, Arghie!
What name did the golf course call you?
Unfortunately the Wicked Witch of the West (CA) and the Wicked Witch of the East (NY) are on the same wavelength and not likely to be gouging each other anytime soon. And anyway, how would we pick which one to cheer for? :^)
You're too kind, Miss Slippie!
"mean mommy"
That is what hubby said, too-I had to put that ball in the appliance garage with the toaster and can opener so the cat couldn't find it on the counter and bat it onto the floor...
We could set up a betting pool here at WFTD.
