I don't know how you lost the weight, and it kinda sounds like I don't want to know. However, 45 lbs is a significant amount, and who knows, maybe it puts you into the merely chubby category now.

It's a lot of weight to lose in 3 or 4 months, I'm having a bit of an identity crisis! As you said, I'm no longer "the fat guy".

Christmas was rough. I have the (mostly) white beard, but most of my bowl full of jelly gut is gone. *sigh*

BTW, the loss was caused by diabetes. Annoying, but well under control now, and not particularly dangerous. No cure just yet, but effective treatments.

I'm under control with diet and Glucophage. I cry a lot at the table. *sigh* again.
