AHH HA HA HA !! I LOVE these threads and try real hard not to be drinking anything when I read them. Some of you guys (gals) have hysterical senses of humor. Laugh on .. it's medicinal.

Ahhh for the good old days :) Liberty launch from Coronado, a cheap triple feature, some civilian food, and back to the barracks on Coronado.

What you're seeing is just the prelude to 12/12/2012 when the solar system will undergo hyperdimensional transformation to a higher dimensional consiousness. Spiritual preparation is needed to insure that your psyche is prepared to adjust to the new reality. Of particular concern is the realization that property values in California will be readjusted to the mean for Lima, Ohio.
Sell now.....Stan Deyo and Steve Quayle told me so.

That is weird. I was driving home from work and was thinking the same thing, up here in northern California.
For some reason, the night sky looks "off" tonight, a bit unnatural. I could not put my finger on what it was, but you nailed it. The stars look like they are at airplane height. In fact, I thought they were airplanes in some sort of flight pattern until I recognized the constellations. Really strange looking.
I thought it was just me, but since you've mentioned it, maybe there is some kind of atmospheric phenomenon going on.
