I'm watching Seinfeld and boy does this remind me of a funny story.
My stepmother is a pack-rat.
We had so much crap in the house we had to get a dumpster, I'm talking one of those long ones, to clean out all the crap she'd acquired over the years.
Any way on the back staircase she had about a dozen CASES of empty New York Seltzer bottles.
Why was she keeping them you ask?
Because if we ever went to MI we could bring them and get the .15cent per bottle deposit on them.
Now mind you we lived about 60miles south of Chicago.
Anyway while me and my Dad were cleaning out the basement and filling up the dumpster my Dad looks at me and goes "Go get them d@mn seltzer bottles and bury them in the dumpster.
Wanna guess what the first thing out of my step-mom's mouth was when she got home that day?
Yup, the very first thing.
"Where did those bottles go that were on the back stairs?"
