He's was some child prodigy actor back in the day. He kinda fell off the earth as a teen.

JACK IS BACK!!

I didn't finish last season and missed some episodes from Season 2. If you have netflix or one of those other services, you could always rent the full season (a disc at a time).
No one says that you have to watch it NOW. The stories are just as watchable (or not) 6 months from now.

It beats the Euros they've had in the past.. Yeah, that was quite an ending to this episode. *Sigh* One of these years, we'll get TiVo...

Agree about going commercial free. This show belongs on a cable network.

My husband and I are about to give up on 24. Good show, but the constant commercials are killing it. A show like this on commercial-free HBO would be terrific... You can always wait until the whole season is released on DVD next fall :)
Seriously, commercial free would be great. But since HBO probably wouldn't do as good a job as Fox, I think it's best where it is. It would be nice if Chevy would sponsor the program, so that instead of Ford SUV's, they would be driving Suburbans, just like in real life. This should be an awesome season for 24; just when you thought it wouldn't get better....

Ah, what a twist it would be if the SoD's son, the leftist peacenik, was in cahoots with the terrorists after all? Kinda has that Nick Berg conspiracy theory flavor.

I think the group is in league with the terrorists.

I keep imagining Rummy in Heller's spot. They probably based a little bit of the character on him. Hope he's well protected and never kidnapped.

Ah! And, the protest the NEXT DAY at Lockheed-Martin??? When they showed the internet broadcast, I got the feeling they'd show him being beheaded.
Now, the scenario about taking over the web servers is a bit far-fetched, especially if you think of how quickly the beheading videos made the rounds on the net. Why would they need to take over the internet for just a live video? Hmmm...

Was the son expecting him or was it a surprise visit? I must have gotten distracted because I can't remember now!

Ya know, it kinda stinks that 24 had to be the Sunday AFTER Alberto Gonzales had his Senate committee hearing.
I can only imagine Kennedy, Leahey, or Biden running tape of 24 when Jack walks in a "questions" the terrorist guy, by shooting him in the leg, and then asking Gonzales, "Do you agree with this type of interrogation?".
To: rintense
maybe because it's the SecDef and they want all to see....Im still wondering about the guy on the train....chain on his wrist cut and shot...
