I kind of got the same impression.
Thanks for the link. I didn't know there was a running thread.
Maybe.
Maybe not.
(Heritage Foundation dinner indeed....)
Yup, me too... maybe. Fox TV will be hearing from me if conservatives are the culprit in this thing...
we just pick up here where we leave off each week, invite other 24 freeper fans here. You always get good insight here.
I would have done more than kiss him, esp. considering the man I was in love with just saved my life!Well if they put that on TV the Puritans would have badgered the FCC. It happened, I suspect. >;)

Um... the terrorist she recognizes is from a Heritage Foundation dinner? I'm about to change the channel if the writers make conservatives the root of all evil in this plot.No such thing...side thread here. They mentioned the name is all.
-Eric
I will--thanks!
Looking at dead terrorists--that's my idea of a great first date--how about you?Not a "first date" I would say. Consider how the series opened. Unless we're in "About Last Night" mode..with Demi Moore's friend saying "it wasn't even a date".

Remember when CAIR was plaguing FOX to run PSA's during '24' to remind Americans that Muslims are a peace-loving people? I took this dedication to our soldier's sacfifice in Iraq as a BIG f*** you to CAIR.The thing is, everyone I know who has been there says the majority of those "Muslims" appreciate our help against the fanatics. The soldier died fighting on their behalf against the nuts.
-Eric
I took the dedication that way too. It's a big Go F yourselves to the CAIR gang. I loved the tribute.
Thanks Andy.
.
I just bought first season DVD's. I have been glued to television since then. Only have two more episodes, gee I hate that Nina is the mole and Sherry setting Palmer up with Patty is just too bizarre. What a show, luv it.
Has anyone seen any of these PSA's during the 24 slot? I haven't seen one and I live in The San Francisco Bay Area.
FWIW, CAIR is a terrorist supporting organization (Hamas) whose Chairman was quoted in 1999 as saying that Islam should be the dominant religious and political force in America. Sorry, CAIR, I don't want a savage, blood-thirsty, barbaric anti-semitic religion replacing my Constitution, nor do I want Sharia, a form of Islamic law that OK's stealing/extorting from, raping, enslaving and murdering people who refuse to convert or kow-tow to Islam, replacing the US Criminal Code.
CAIR's Mission:
Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Qur'an should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth --Omar Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations), San Ramon Valley Herald, July 1998
Lucas Haas was the little boy in the 80's movie set in the Amish country called "Witness". Lucas saw this murder and Harrsion Ford tries to protect him from the corrupt city police out to silence the only witness to a cop rubbing out a drug undercover cop.
hey everybody, i have been loving this season's 24 so far. loved the shots of the Marines coming to the rescue.
i was looking at pictures on the USMC website and they have pictures there from the show!
go here:
http://www.usmc.mil/marinelink/image1.nsf/imagearchive?OpenForm&Start=248
and see pictures 249 - 251 and 253.
a heading for one picture reads:
In supporting the 20th Century Fox Television show "24", Marines from Special Operations Training Group, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, fast-rope down from a UH-1 onto a rooftop. A "terrorist" mowed down by two AH-1s lies dead nearby
maybe someone could post a picture or two? i'm clueless on that..
great job to the 1st MEF!
Do you have a link or source for that quote ? Thanks.
Go here: http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/51 for the skinny on this. Facinating stuff.
