Jack's Back
Very cute dress on her, just caught the last moments.
They have the hospital so they have a good place for people to die. Which gives you the punch line to a joke: Where are the two least safe places in LA?
1) The CTU Hospital
2) Next to Jack Bauer
And now we see why Tony shouldn't work at CTU. He is given sole operational control for a black-ops off-book operation, and he blabs to the first person who questions him about it. They didn't even need to torture him. Next everybody will be photocopying the top-secret immunity order from the President.
I hate to keep complaining about travel times, but Jack and Co. got TO the chinese consulate quicker than they got back -- odd since they were in a bit more of a hurry on the way back.
I know Audrey is especially mad at Jack because he interfered with the operation and her hubby died, but if he had died or been permanently disabled wouldn't she still have been mad at him for letting him stand next to him on a mission?
Didn't Paul have to die because Jack's only allowed one survivor per season, and we need the nuclear scientist guy?
Seriously, how many people is that for Jack, Six? (first partner, guy at the helicopter, second partner, mother, paul, guy with him at the power plant). Did I miss any? Did the guy at the power plant die (not the fake hippie, the guy outside with Jack).
Yes, he was gunned down early in the gunfight.
Uh, don't you know the rules? Where are the pictures? :)

That one makes no sense.
Then when Marwaan slipped into the tunnel under the disco.."Damn, he got away!" No one even thought to ask, "Where does that tunnel go?"
Actually, they did have a line that mentioned that the tunnel went to so many possible exits that they couldn't hold a perimeter.

They had one in La Femme Nikita, to care for the operatives esp. when they came back from their covert missions. It provided safe, even long term care for wounded operatives, out of the sight of prying eyes and normal authority structures. And the producers of "24" also produced LFN, so I'm seeing some similarities between the two operations. In LFN, they called CTU "Section One".

Magnum was one of my favorite shows as a kid. Tom Selleck was sure nice to look at too. The only role he has ever played that I didn't like was when he was the gay reporter. Can't remember the movie title but I hated it.
'gay reporter'
Yikes. Glad I missed that one! Did you see the movie he stared in as a wrongfully convicted man in prison? It came out years ago and was very good.
:-)
Plus about 12 hours ago he saved her dang life AND her father's (who has totally disappeared, where the heck is he?)
But he (Tom Selleck) was still the best actor in the show.
I think ... surely I could persuade him not to be gay????
