I think there are four hours left, but the last show is going to be a two hour show.

Yes! The screen shows magnum holding the pistol, the officer taunts him ' you wont shoot me magnum, I know you, I know you better than your own mother ' . No hesitation at all, Magnum fires, stage goes dark, the echo of the gun shot still heard over the black screen.
Exceptional writing - just fantastic!

Magnum PI, great show.
I get to tell everyone that I'm a PI but I don't get to drive an expensive sports car!
Anyway...I gotta go watch the tape of "Raymond." Tonight's a new episode. Ya Gotta love Raymond! Patricia Heaton, who plays Debra is a good little conservative girl!

By far my most favorite TV show. I recall seeing a bit of the very last episode. I was on a double date with a buddy and two young girls. I had gone to the bar to get us beers and watched a bit much to the chagrin of my date. I recall thinking.
' How odd..I saw the first episode with my sister, each of us wearing PJs as bed time was right after the show. Now, I'm watching the last show, I;m wearing a jacket and tie and am in a bar '

I was more than a little pleased to find out Tom Selleck was a conservative!

I think it was so much more powerful because you never expected Magnum to do such a thing. He could be tough but this was different. You sat there there WANTING him to pull the trigger but not thinking that he would. It was an exceptional episode. There are few shows now that measure up. 24 is one of them.

Well said DJ.
The good guy NEVER killed the bad guy even when the SOB deserved it. It may have been the first time it happened in TV I have no idea.
To: small_l_libertarian
I know. I read that one, too. My guesses are:Well, you can eliminate one of your two guesses.

And how things have changed. Can you imagine the flak if that Magnum ep aired now? I'm surprised that 24 gets away with as much as it does.
I'll see you next Monday! :)

have a great week!~

Well, you can eliminate one of your two guesses.
I did eliminate him! I knew that he would die, but hoped that he wouldn't.
If my other guess comes true, I will be COMPLETELY devastated. But, that's how "24" works - no one is ever safe.
Switching topics: Have I ever told y'all that I have yet to miss an episode? I have watched every single hour since Day 1, Hour 1. I have never been so obsessed with a TV show.

"Well, you can eliminate one of your two guesses. If my other guess comes true, I will be COMPLETELY devastated. But, that's how "24" works - no one is ever safe.I hope not. There are lots of current candidates for that second slot. I'm pretty sure it won't be Jack Bauer. :) Beyond that, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, I didn't discover the show until this season, but I immediately bought the DVDs for the first three seasons and pretty much watched them back to back when I wasn't working or sleeping. :)

Hey, me too.........Day 1, Hour 1.
I remember what piqued my interest, was that it was going to be shown in real time.

Geez...
I heard Elisha Cuthbert was supposed to be on Letterman tonight. It's almost 12:30pm and no Elisha....just a triple segment of Martin Short.
This stinks!
