Notice the twitchy Veep is played by the same actor who played John Ashcroft in the DC 9/11 movie starring Timothy Bottoms. I wonder if we will have some Patriot Act "commentary" coming soon from the CAIR-owned writers.
Oh well now that is an entirely different situation. :) What we have here is a failure to communicate. Why did he lock her in a room?
It was the goon. Mike thought Palmer was doing the wrong thing and kept Lynne locked in a room so she couldn't tell Palmer that there was a conspiracy.
I should've said that the woman, whoever was involved, fell down the stairs accidentally. But Mike didn't do anything to help her, as I recall.
Lynne caught on that there was a conspiracy to remove Palmer from office. His whole cabinet thought he should be relieved but that was because they believed Stanton who was a traitor. Now you'll just have to watch S2. :)
After she fell it was too late for him to do much. For some reason I remember this part of S2 but I'm shaky on much of the rest of it. LOL!! I guess it's because I liked both the Mike and Lynne characters.
I know. Mike was a good guy up until that moment. Maybe he's learned from his mistakes--in 24 time, it's been nearly 5 years since Season 2, so he could've reformed. But there has to be a reason that he's resurfaced now next to this weak-kneed VP.
Mike started out a strong adviser and knew his way around. At that point (the beginning), he was honest. If they were going to resurrect a strong man to advise Mr Weak Knees, Mike is the guy. I hope Mikes character ends as good as he started out.
Sherri Palmer...man, she was a b*tch!
Remember in the 3rd season when she withheld that dudes pills and he died of a heart attack??
I could see Hitlary doing that to Billy boy when she's through with him.

What ever happened to Lynne?? Last I recall in season 2 she was trying to point to Mike (to tell Palmer he was behind her "accident") and he grabbed her hand and said "everthings going to be OK."
They took her to the hospital and that's the last we saw of her.
Lynnes character never returned. She wasn't even spoken of. I wondered why too.
Maybe they're saving that actress for a future return. This show does that often. Chloe came back only a few "hours" ago.
Thank goodness. What a boring office without her. :)
Did anyone notice that when the VP took the oath of office, he didn't say the words "so help me God"?
