I had to use the wooden spoon a couple of times....but my two boys were angels compared to the kids they have on this show....I must have done something right.
My mum had a silver hair brush that she used to swat our hiney's with...until one day...one swat too many and she broke the handle on me...then I REALLY GOT IT!!!
Nothing wrong with a good swat on the butt! Got my attention in a hurry...
I used to get spankings with a belt...we were always given a choice...evening in bedroom without supper(remember there was no electronic equipment in there) or a spanking with the belt....I always took the spanking..I hated the isolation....but my mom always brought us dinner....
I agree, there's nothing wrong with it. Just as long as parents don't go crazy. Three good whacks should make the point. (They sure made the point for me!)
