Nah, Edgar's shown more backbone than most of them--male or female.

If you find an AI live thread ping me.

Will do.

Well hey at least the men aren't nasty. I mean puhlease! Every one of those women have been catty at one point or another. I'll show you, I'm in charge here. What gives? Where are the reasonable ones? Oh that's right. They're not reasonable they are WOMEN..... :) Just what it appears like to me. Think I have a case?

They were believable until the bullet bounced off his clip. Not that I wanted him to die or anything. But couldn't the bullet have gone over him or to the right?

You never know....the #1 team doesn't always win....there might be an upset....you know that.

I'm not touching that one--I'm not wearing my flame-retardant jammies :)

But Chloe was the best female character. She knew her job and did it better than anyone--and for that she was fired. I haven't been the same since.

Remember Jack telling them to fill the pockets with empty clips? Voila! A ,sort of, bullet proof vest.

Yeah, I htink you are right. I think the overkill with female directors of CTU is supposed to be a critique of women or at least of affirmative action as opposed to merit. Driscoll seemed designed as a put down of women leaders. Every possible weak point and fear about women in command materialized except she did not become pregnant. Oddly, I think Audrey has been the best female role, but her acting sure shifted when she was supposed to be shken by Jack. She seems less and less believable, but I dont think she has ever been nasty on this show.

For your sake I will contact the writers and beg and plead that they bring the goddess back. Because frankly I would like to have a female on the show that is not a whining, conniving, power hungry....etc.

That was so funny, that scene! Reese W. was a riot, what a little thing she was then, I don't know how KS kept a straight face either.

Too much.

Oh..now see I missed that! I will have to go and rewatch my tape. The show comes on as I am getting the children settled in bed and other domestic things. I always tape it, try to watch bits and pieces and rewatch it with my husband when he gets home. I liked the 2 guys. I did have a feeling there would be some who didn't though.

I agree. I've said before that CTU has turned into a high school--the cool kids versus the nerds. But it's probably truer to life than we'd like to admit.

No she hasn't been nasty, but the past 2 weeks she has become ? Can't put it into words but her character has lost something. She also is showing signs of the other extreme of women, can't make a decision and stick with it. Fickle. ?

It's soooo easy to miss something because that show moves so fast. And it's on at a busy time of night.
