Jack's Back
HAHAHA!! It's 11:15 here. I still have a bit of time on here. But I am so tired. No sympathy necessary. :0)
Well, I hope that's true then, about not refilming any of 24.
The PSA was disappointing enough, though as you say, it seemed to air only once.
Well, I have to go finish my Kiefer movie that I was watching before 24 came on.
Never really watched more than 1 or 2 of his films before, now I'm trying to find every one I can! Some of his movies are painful to watch, but he's amazing in even the worst of them.
And on top of the movies, I just finished today the last of season 3 of 24, have finally caught up with all of the previous seasons.
I hope I don't sound like a fanatic about KS! But I thought I had seen every movie ever made that I ever wanted to watch from prior years, and now I've found a whole new area that I missed all along.
well goodnight everyone
time for bed
Young Guns was a good action movie.
Kiefer movies! I have a collection. 22
Night, Milo. See ya next week?
oh yeah can't wait i dont think i could do this on a nightly schedule
He's been in 50. Some stinkers, some not. He was the voice of the caller in Phone Booth. He was in a heart-wrenching, little known movie called To End All Wars. And of course, Stand By Me when younger.
See ya then! :)
Um. No. I was a moderator on a Kiefer board for awhile but there were few rules and LOTS of nastiness. I left.
Those are 2 I have yet to see. Looking forward to them.
Oops, that was meant for you, Dan.
Sounds like that was fun...!
The one that left me in tears (and I don't think I've cried in a movie since Bambi, when I was about 10) was Behind the Red Door. So moving.
Dan, check out http://www.imdb.com (do a search on the word "Kiefer" only -- it doesn't seem to work for his full name).
I had a lot of catching up to do. Am getting more than half way through at this point.
The Lost Boys was pretty amazing.
Cowboy Up was another that I thought was kind of fascinating and different, he was a cowpoke, which was sort of the life he was leading at that time, riding the bulls, roping cattle, which he was doing in real life for a number of years on a ranch that he had bought in Montana.
Just saw an interesting one called Woman Wanted, which was sad, and moving. These are all movies I would never have watched prior to 24.
Many years ago, I happened to see The Bay Boy on cable, his 2nd movie, I think he was 17 or so. That one somehow stayed with me for a long time.
The Vanishing is one of the creepiest movies I've seen in a long time.
Kiefer also had a ranch in Calif but sold it, however, he still has his quarter horse. I believe he had cattle and lost his feed crop because of rain. He sold the ranch and went back to Hollywood.
I'll freepmail you a list of my 22 Kiefer movies later today. I don't remember all of them. Btw, Freeway is nasty. The language was awful.
Um. No. Adult women behaving like 15 year olds can be vicious. Then there was the gay kid that was in a mental ward in Denmark that screamed he wasn't gay and psychoanalyzed all the posters. Europeans joined the board and were rude and chased off most of the Americans, Canadians and Brits.......I could go on and on and on......
Loved Dead Heat for his comedic scene in that restaurant. It's too bad there's so little chance for him to show that side. He's a very funny guy according to what I've read.
I've got Cowboy Way on order order, along some others that aren't in the video stores.
Yes, Freeway was just awful...but at some point during it, the movie seemed to take a turn into a parody of a bad movie, and at that point, I started laughing at his portrayal of that character.
Yes, please do send me your list when you get a chance!
Yikes.

I'm just reading last night's thread. What happened here with all the removed comments? Disruptor?
