But he said you were the best. right in public. That is so great!

Definitely worth cutting some serious slack.

Yes it is.

What - that the plot line brings in an EMP to cover the tracks of corporate malfeasance - when setting off an EMP would create a much larger track of corporate malfeasance?

I gave the show the benefit of the doubt with the dubious notion that a portable workstation could control all the nukes in the country. I won't give them a second leap of faith at this point.

They brought in a bunch of completely unncessary plot twists that do NOTHING for the story line.

Have you watched 24 season 1-3? Usually, there are 3 or 4 stories going on at one time and some are meant to move characters. Jack is now "back" at CTU and so are Tony and Michelle but under VERY different circumstances.

Just because they got carried away in previous seasons doesn't mean it makes sense that they got carried away in this season.

Well I'm a geek but just not a computer one.

I like books. I LIKE the computer and I've been online for 10 years and, I have to say, computers are more reliable than they used to be. I USED to jump up and yell at Hubby, "It's doing something wrong!" LOL!!!

I know what you mean..I love to rewatch it with my husband and discuss what we think will happen next. And I can't come to the thread while it' s own. Just too engrossed. This is my first season to watch. I need to rent the last few seasons and watch them.

Geoffrey Fieger is an (in)famous attorney here in Michigan. He became famous when he was Dr. Jack Kevorkian's lawyer. He's on nationwide programs and is always entertaining if nothing else.

Some of his quotes:
--On Pope John Paul II: ``(S)ome (expletive) who's wearing a hat three feet tall.''

--On Orthodox rabbis: ``They're closer to Nazis than they think they are. Orthodox Jews are not different than the right-wing Christian nuts. If you're a religious nut, you're a religious nut.''

--On Gov. Engler: ``(A)t a minimum, the result of miscegenation between human beings and barnyard animals.''

--On Engler's triplet daughters, then age 3: ``Unless they have corkscrew tails, those are not his kids.''

--On his own Democratic Party: ``The party has been the party of wimps and oatmeal for too long.''

--On Jesus Christ: ``...Jesus is just some goofball that got nailed to the cross.''

He was such a bad candidate, he lost the city of Ann Arbor, a 70%+ democrat city. (and lost overall 65-35) In his first speech as the democrat nominee for governor(thanks to GOP troublemakers....), he said he was going to "kick John Engler's big fat ass"(exact quote). This was an official speech. Fieger even voted in the wrong precinct.

His brother, Doug, was also the lead singer of The Knack, one hit wonders. "My Sharona"

He can always change his name. He could be cleanboy.

I asked that the poster be re-instated. So you can just call me Mr. dirtboy, thank you.
