I don't think it had anything to do with the ET's.
I think God pulled HIS protection back somewhere. I think He's BEGINNING to telegraph HIS displeasure with the world's values and behaviors and particularly with violence and immorality hostile to His values and priorities.
Why there? I don't know. I can imagine with Indonesia. And with Burma and with Sri Lanka. And I suppose, given the child prostitution stuff in southern Thailand--may as well add them to the list.
But such speculations are . . . wild guesses to foolhardy in some respects. I don't have any golden telegram or email from Heaven on it.
I do know He's VERY much more than annoyed at the violence and immorality glorified and spread abroad on our planet increasingly. I think that centers and sources of that are likely to be in for some interesting 'discipline' at an accelerating pace. We shall see.
Eventually, there won't be anywhere for evil to hide. There certainly won't be anywhere for individuals more devoted to evil and their own selfishness than they are to God--won't be anywhere for them to hide.
