1. Of such fine texture as to be transparent or translucent: diaphanous tulle. 2.Characterized by delicacy of form. See Synonyms at airy. 3.Vague or insubstantial: diaphanous dreams of glory

The seamstress was frightened, but she asked in a low, sheepish voice, "what material would you like your tent made from, senator?" Kennedy boomed, "diaphanous tulle is what I want." "But senator," she said, "there isn't enough diaphanous tulle in the whole world to make your tent."

well i like you, so here is something amusing i just found. you have to love someone with the guts to trash someone that just died. this woman needed trashing, and this guy does a superb job of trashing her!

you are forgiven the mental image of Fat Ted in diaphanous tulle that is emblazoned in my head right now. : )
