I had the good fortune of watching a modern version of Othello on PBS last night.As much as I appreciate the offer of playing Iago to a cartoon character, alas the role appears to have been already taken.
It has fallen to you to have accepted the role of Emilia.Where in the final scene she appears as a victim of sheer futility, her eyes scanning the faces of those present,her tiny fists clenched in rage, spitting venom,the blue flame of justice blowing three feet from her rear, she implores...
"O, who hath done this deed?"
Desdemona played by Roger Mellie the man from the Telly ( in her swan song/death rattle) replies
"Nobody; I myself. Farewell Commend me to my kind lord: O, farewell!"
You are of course aware,that one resides in a double wide hence there are a couple of hundred co inhabitants.
