That looks like a cold mountain stream to jump into this mornin westy. Good morning folks. We are getting ready for our trips to DC and then to TX in our TV. Lots of packing lists and arrangments to make. And unpredictable weather compounds the degree of flexibility we must have.
Mr. Prairie is taking the RV further downstate today (as they call it in IL) to where our daughter goes to school. The main roads are clear. Next weekend we take her back to school and after that leave for DC for a combination business trip and the FReeper Ball. We come home for two nights and hopefully drive back down to the college town to see daughter on the day we've planned and take off early the next morning from there heading south toward Memphis. From there on we'll turn west with eventual destinations San Antonio and the Rio Grande valley.
So lots of busy-ness around here. Hope everybody is doing well after these holidays.

oops TV = RV
LOL, more coffee needed
We went to the inaugural in 2000, but went to the Michigan Ball, being unaware of the FR one. It was great, historical in hearing W give the "angel in the whirlwind" talk, as well as watching the end of the decade of total sleaze (booing the departing Pres and his wife was very rude.....but entirely worth it.......). LL and I went from the actual ceremony to a nice pub/restaurant on Wisconsin Ave, NW, bought a bottle of champagne and toasted to a wonderful historical event).
Our daughter lives in San Antonio, her in laws are from Mission in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley.
Sounds like a fun trip.......bring your counter protest signs.......
