Isn't he playing The Phantom in the movie version of Phantom of the Opera?

Yes. Local reviewer said Butler got the role for his looks, not his voice. But then again this was the reviewer that didn't like LOTR.

I'm pretty sure Phantom opened today. We'll probaly see it, althought it's not one of our favorite stage shows.
