And I don't drink coffee...
I've got some o' that, too...
*sigh* Music night done. They didn't notice the dogs were missing until time to leave, and I didn't give a full explanation...just said they'd been rehomed. So...guess my news is safe for now.
I just don't want everyone to know until the house is sold and I'm about ready to give notice.
:o
Onnatural, ain't it?
101.1° mmmmmm...toddy...
Oh, no...not again!
Hope you feel better soon!
So do people from work come for Music night or does news travel fast?
Chicken soup. Lots of chicken soup.
News travels fast. It's a small town.
And the drummer's wife works at the college.
At this point...I'd rather just family knew. Not even close friends, for the most part. It'll make it easier. Of course...when the house goes on the market, there will be questions from some, but I can still keep it quiet for a bit, I think...doesn't have to mean I'm leaving the area.
Not even your family? How come? ~frets about shocking families~
Family knows! Just not everyone at church - and especially not at work. Not until a few more steps are safely behind me!
Oh - OK then I guess! - You had me worried there!
Mmmmm, maybe so, maybe not. Oglethorpe in General James Oglethorpe, main stomping grounds down here on the southern coast of Georgia and the Carolina's as well - I think :\
Weren't none to be had in the house. Couldn't bear havin' wife go out to just get me some.
So I've got my toddy, and I'm gonna sleep downstairs tonite. I'm afraid to lie down.
Probably a good plan. Although your music people are lousy company not to notice the dogs' absence.
Remember, every day makes the Day of Going Forth a little closer... we need to give it a code name.
And Whiskey. Lots of Whiskey. Scare it outta ya.
My fever remedy involves out-fevering the fever. Wool hat, wool neck scarf, two or three layers of long johns and sweats... and dare the little bugger to a heat contest. Oh? You want it hot? I got hot for yah... :-)
You can always say that the house is such an expense....true, isn't it?
They did notice before they left, though!
Day of Going Forth? Hm...what's a good Tolkien reference?
That's exactly what Steve does!
Yep. Exactly.
