I've gotta dig out the coats again. It's truly amazing I even remembered to buy one for bittygirl! It just doesn't get *that* cold very often.

BTW, bittygirl has updated her profile. She has been hangin' out at the foxhole thread (with dad).

Not too hot, not too cold. And, most importantly, not too humid!

I get in trouble at the bach-pad that way. I don't use that address for *anything* and only think to even check the mail there like once every couple of months.

Fortunately I've only got power and cable there. No phone. Oh... and rent... keep forgetting that one. :-)

FPL bill's definitely paid. I got the limping bank account to prove it! *laughing*

They (FPL) have been good for about a week now, but last week the lights would go off and on for 5 minutes every 15 minutes. It was annoying as hell and scared the wits outta the kids.

Our power bill comes via my email, no paper bill at all... and now ecurbh is paying the bills, so it doesn't do a lot of good in my inbox if I don't mention it. ;~D

We'll not likely ever run out of dogs that need a home and will love us for the care that we can give them, for however long it may be.

Yer a better dog owner than I am (both of you).

Wife and I have commented that after Sam and Abby are gone "we won't be getting any more pets."

But then, we're both probably lying...

This bill was dated December 20, but just came today... and said we had to pay by tomorrow, or else. Nice of them to give us so much notice, eh.

My mom tells me tonight that they've raised the mortgage again. I was ready to fly off the handle because they just increased our taxes and insurance last year by 130 bucks a month.

I looked at the bill and laughed in relief. Turns out the payment was one lousy day late and they tacked on a late charge of around $35. She thought that the new payment due amount was the new monthly payment amount.

Whew! I've never been so glad to see a late charge in my life!

Little cold and wet shivering paw-held-up... pitiful little face asking... "Can I be *your* dog??? "

Not even Saddam would turn that down. :-)
