I'll be standing on the porch with the shotgun... doing my best to look menacing.
I guess I deserve that. I just tried to take it back, but calling the Hotel number on the caller ID got me the front desk, they they have no idea which guest called me.
She prolly won't show up anyhow. I've done enough social work to know that most screw-ups also never keep appointments they make.
lean forward into the shotgun... you'll keep your balance better... and be able to shoot and move...

Few things say "I can see you" better than a red dot on the chest of conversationee.
I would love to be on a jury! I got called up, I showed up, but they always seated the jury before my name was called out of the pool. That happened all week. I felt rejected personally.
