More troops is not the answer. We are not a occupying force so it would just mean more targets for the insurgents. I think that our troops should be used more as a rapid reaction force that swoops in when the Iraqis troops are overwhelmed or when there is an area that has been identified as a insurgent strong hold.
...I believe our policy should have been un-merciless, overwhelming, disgustingly-absurd use of force on ALL such 'enclaves'.
Block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood, until no one WANTED nor WOULD TOLERATE a terrorist in the same TOWN...
