Btw, who is the DV? Does the DV like pb&j? Or hate brocolli?
Oh, and good evening.
5.56mm
I'll be able to say more about the DV after the event. But the DV is way up the food chain. ;>)

You'll do good john.
Goodnight All.
Hello. I've just returned home from dinner served family style at the Amana Colonies. I ate like a pig, with no concern about Adkins. Tomorrow I will climb back on the wagon.
And now I'm going to get the Alka Selzer and go to bed. I have a roadtrip in the morning.
That is all.

She does it very well. VERY well.
Deep breath. Deep breath. Deep breath.
Ah..........that's better.
I've been at the hospital all day sitting by her bedside.
This morning the doctor discovered her blood pressure up very high....with swelling in the legs....and extra weight gain in a short amount of time.
He fears Preeclampsia.....a serious condition that can develop suddenly in pregnancy.
She's 8-1/2 weeks till due date.
Tonight, bless her heart, she's hooked up to IV's and a catheter...
..and they have BP meds going in, plus a magnesium sulfate to prevent seizures plus a steroid shot for the baby's lungs in case they have to deliver it soon!
THe specific prayer is that they will not find proteins...(I think) tomorrow morning (in her fluids)...and that her blood pressure will be down, and the swelling down
...If they do, they might deliver the preterm baby.
...I am beyond tears, beyond weariness but not beyond God's grace.
I covet your prayers.
Thanks!
Praying, Guennie.
I don't have the current ping list.........
Praying for Jen and Emily, Guennie.

Please keep us informed.
Hi, Kay. I miss your coffee.
Just checking in to say hello to folks. Hope all's well.

Thanks for the ping. I am doing not very OK. I had my hair cut on Saturday, then went to see my parents. I fell asleep on the couch with my foot propped, and it was late when I woke up. So I stayed the night. And my mom made me stay down all day. My leg was looking pretty good, even though it was highly annoying to have to run to the bathroom every 10 minutes for several hours.
I got up this morning at home, got ready, the leg is still looking pretty good. I walked out to get my mail and something happened because all of a sudden my left knee was striking the curb. There was a slick spot there that I didn't see, I even had my boots on that don't usually slip like that.
I really turned the air blue with a choice few cusswords (I think I feel the worst about my language.) Then I got my mail, walked back to my townhouse, and sat on the couch for 10 minutes and cried. I'm a big wimp, but that hurt like @*#*.
So...I laid down on my lunch hour in the sickroom, came home and propped the leg. I got up to walk around and check my email, and I'm off to bed to read for awhile. I'm really hoping that this doesn't set the recovery back. It is highly discouraging.
My prayers are with Jennie and the baby.
Sorry I missed you.
