Oh I've done similar things with tree branches too. They are pretty..but if I'm in the new house this year I may get a tree with all the lights on it, or a real one and just put lights on. No one will see it but us anyway..lol. My trees are all lit all the time anyway, all year. I use the uplights and the tree lights on all of them.
I looooooooooooove lights..lol.
(and they look so much prettier at night, don't you think?);)
Yes, I like them, too and they make lovely patterns on the ceiling. LOL
