I got invited to go to St. Augustines for a few days at Christmas in our friends RV, but with all that's going on I plan on staying right here. We will be totally alone, with all our friends gone back east or traveling. I doubt if I'll get much decorating done either. If I get a real tree I will have to buy everything that goes on it, and I'm afraid that kind of shopping won't be first place.

Oh well, I still have my outside deer and two small trees for the house.

I'm in the same situation. When I left Colorado, I gave Dawn all the Christmas decorations.

gran, just get a good size tree branch, not a palm tree. Strip off the leaves, spray paint it white and stick it in some dirt in a planter. Then hang a few ornaments of all one color... all red or since you have lots of blue, try blue. Light it from the floor, or depending on the size from a table, with an uplight that you can use for other things like an indoor palm or ficus later on. I did that one year for a guest bedroom and it was really very pretty.
