It's been cold here all week so when I went out this morning I was expecting to freeze my butt off again

And was really surprised at how much it warmed up today ..

Maybe that is why we are only getting the rain instead of the snow that is hitting other parts of the country

Yeah when the sun comes out during the day it does warm up. But come about 4:00pm the temperature starts dropping - big time.
