Fox's "Who's your Daddy?"

Have you seen this? What unbelievable dreck. The "Who's Your Daddy?" show, in which a young woman given up for adoption as a child gets a $100,000 prize for picking out her biological father from a line-up, is the latest in America's obsession with reality TV programming.

I'd seen a segment of a Montell Williams show a few years ago where a young woman with a child was presented with three young men - one of them was the father of their chld. There had been DNA testing done, and at the end of the segment it was revealed which one was the Daddy. Unbelievable. That was the only time I'd seen the show, and only watched for about 10 minutes. Yet, it's stuck in my memory. I guess I've led a sheltered life, where everyone I know usually knows who the father of their children is, and doesn't feel the need to go on national television in a game-show-like atmosphere and have all revealed thanks to the miracle of DNA testing. GAH!!

Don't you find some of these "reality shows" a bit much? I mean Victoria Gotti, rolling in $$$ from her GANGSTER/MURDERER father and we are supposed to be interested in this show that practically nobody could relate to. Then there is the Egomaniac of the century, Donald Trump, and so far the TV execs don't seem to be running out of ideas. WHO in their right minds would watch these shows on a regular basis?

Good Grief ! No, mercifully, I haven't. Whatever possesses someone to do such a thing in front of the whole world ?
