No, I don't have sound. I've run through the troubleshooting in the settings panel, and everything comes up saying that the device is working properly. The connections are tight, the volume controls appear to be properly set. I'm stumped.

"I'm stumped." Have you tried opening media player and seeing if the volume was turned all the way down on it? I've had that happen and forgot I did it and couldn't figure out why I didn't have sound.
