Resty, if that deal was such a gold mine, don't you think that the private sector would be all over it?
It really isn't the business of government to take taxpayer dollars and built a stadium for the benefit of private enterprise. Oakland did that to lure back the Raiders, and it's continuing to cost the Alameda county taxpayers millions of dollars, while the owner of the football team rakes in the dough.
