I've been pondering on something lately, something from my own repertoir of self-improvement hints, something where I'm trying to understand / learn / train myself, and since you mentioned him:

I saw a parody anti-Kerry commercial right before election day where Kerry was protrayed as the PofD and though I didn't disagree with anything parodied, I found myself disgusted at the piece.

Yet, I don't know of any redeeming qualities in Kerry, so here is the point I'm trying to learn. Even if there are no redeeming qualities in someone, don't you have to bite your tongue and say nothing at all, just to remain humane?

At my company I was required to go to an 'Essential Conversations' class, where the instructor had us, at our table, discuss the presidential candidates. I did my best impersonation of Carville, but stabbing at Kerry instead, and now I've had some at my table quit the company altogether and the others won't talk to me anymore.

I probably shouldn't take it personally, it was just a class assignment where I did what I was told.

Essential Conversation classes?

You'll be able to re-purchase your company even sooner than I thought...how very PC of the new management.

Satan was given dominion over this world until Christ returns to claim his Kingdom. Any form of government that rules by force, or threat of force, is not of God and I believe to be of Satan and not of the Prince of Peace. I can only judge people or organizations by their actions; not by their words.

Poor Kerry won't even warrant a footnote in the history books yet to be written.
