I remember a BC comic strip someone showed me once. Sort of like this..........

First frame: Snake standing up talking (familiar?): "It's tough being a snake. People always stumble upon us, yell snake! and then they start beating us with their sticks."

Second frame: another talking snake standing up rejoins: "Don't worry about that, it's just a myth"

Third frame: First talking snake: "Whew, I was really worried, my parents gave me the wrong impression."

Fourth frame: Snake goes slithering out.......

Fifth frame: Person stumbles accross snake, yells "Snake" and ten others come out and beat the snake to a pulp with sticks.

Last frame: Beat up snake mumbles "guess they weren't so dumb after all...."
