We're ripping it up and putting in rosewood floors in the dining room and living room, but that installation isn't actually going to begin until January.

What's going on the floor?
Real Rosewood would cost more than most cars.

Hm. It's labelled rosewood. Looks rosy. I believed them. We haven't ordered the materials yet. It's not a composite, I know that for sure. Solid plank. And it was a little more than $7/square foot (not including installation - we have a family member in the business who will do the work at "family" prices). so, beats me. i'll call up my bro-in-law and see what he thinks.
