Oh that is the absolute best scene from that movie.
It was the third Matrix movie when Neo
has that fight to the death with evil, and
is asked why he won't just give up...why
does he keep fighting?
And he shouts "Because I CHOOSE to."
I like that.
We always have a choice :-)
my favorite line form that movie was when i was in the theater and my roomate goes "DIE Please!" to Trinity after like 7 min of that scene. It was better when the theater started cracking up
LOL... Yea, not my favorite movie
but I love that line.
I just showed my daughter your Breakfast Club post. She's cracking up as we recite it the way it was done in the movie. That's one of her fave movies. She knows those lines by heart too.
I'm assuming your youngest?
Breakfast club rocks. Good 80s movie.
Jordan tells me that I should have been like this age in 1982 since I am a total yuppie and my music collection consists of about 75% 80s music. heh
Oh so you're not into Weezer? Praise Allah!
oh hah no i like them too.... i said 75% from the 80s. Thats stilla ogod 25% from other things hah.
True Lies......Maybe she's sleepy.....
Bluegrass? Country?
Im from Central NJ so that would be a big No.... hahahah.
If I were from Southern Jersey maybe. Thats were all the hicks live. ha
Thats were all the hicks live.
Hey, I resemble that remark!
eah...
Got to call a spade a spade... ha I didnt know that type of music was popular in Cleaveland and San Jose...
i liked it better than the critics did myself.
i see... so then why do you like that type of music (or do you not and I just misinterpreted what you were saying)
Aw dude you stole mine.
I like three, maybe four movies.
Tombstone was one.
How about Holiday: "That is a fine thing for you to say to me."
Next on my list (being the scientist dontcha know) is Apollo 13: "Come on people. Let's work the problem!"
I loved the surprise birthday party in Evil Roy Slade....AMBUSH ! .....BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG !!!
Actually i was inspired by O Brother Where Art Thou. From Bluegrass i branched out to Hillbilly Music (Hank Wms) and then to early country like the Carter Family and then Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn. Then recently blues.
For Xmas last year Jordan got me a Johnny Cash bio called "Cash". And you can confirm this with him, after i read it, i told him it was so great that they should make a movie about it and cast Joachin Phoenix as Johnny. Then 2 months later it was announced just like that and i called him and we both laughed our arses off.
Since then, i've been reading books about other people in country and blues music: Bill Monroe, Robert Johnson, The Carter Family.
