We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Hopefully this is not the foreshadowing of a recurrence of a bad dream...
RECOUNT OF PRESIDENTIAL BALLOTS WILL OCCUR IN OHIO...
This recount is being demanded and financed by Libertarian and Green Party wackos in the Buckeye State.
In Iraq, terrorists are vowing the current round of violence is only the beginning of what American troops will face. (EN--At the current KIA ratio, they'd better hope it's a short story...)
NASA's X-43A aircraft reached Mach 9.7 in a flight yesterday.
ABC aired a racy promo of Desperate Housewives just before Monday Night Football a couple of nights ago. Viewers have complained, the NFL has said it was inappropriate, and the network has apologized.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I'm going to call it a night.....have a good one John.

Hey there.
/john
thanks for the ping about the Secretary of Ag, kay. Unfortunately, it's more than 200 posts long now, and I just can't read it now. Hopefully I can wade thru it early tomorrow morning.
Em is back at her place.
I'm playing for a musical, so my evenings are taken up with that. It ends Sunday.
Then 2 days of relative "down time", then we leave next Wednesday for 4 days in Minnesota.
I CAN'T WAIT to get outta here........
She is absolutely gorgeous.
She hasn't seen him in uniform yet but was admiring the pictures of him we have plastered all over the fridge when she was here earlier.:)
I'm glad Em is doing better. I know how that works. It's no fun.
On a positive note, I captured all of my laundry and it's being cleaned now. I think I left it a little too long over the trip home. I won't do that again. 8>)

Good for Doc. Best wishes for a good outcome.

God bless us all. Each, and every one.
/john
Good night, Johnny.
Heeheehee
Hope it didn't put up too much of a fight.;^)
Reporting in. I drank coffee at a dinner meeting tonite. So here I am. I had a 2 hr drive home and I wanted to stay away,,, but this is not reasonable.
I think I'll go read kayak's Secretary of Agriculture thread.
I just got home awhile ago. The handyman forgot to light my pilot light in the furnace. I can't find it. I did sleep well last night though, amazing how much body heat a down comforter will trap. :)
Good morning All!
I was just musing this morning over the oft-heard liberal line "We support the troops."
Has anyone, anywhere seen them doing this? How do they support our troops? Any examples?
Their support of the troops consists of saying "I support the troops." Nothing more. Any actual effort to do so is met by them with catcalls and sneers.
Do you recall the disgusting lib protest sign that said
" We support the troops when the kill their officers"
Good morning.. actually I haven't gotten to sleep yet. too many war images of all sorts permeating my mind at this point
You haven't been to sleep?
Miss Marple and I will sing a lullaby for you
Here is an interesting bit of trivia. I just checked The Indianapolis Star's web site. For the fourth day in a row, there is NO mention of Mitch Daniels.
Now, electing a Republican governor for the first time in 16 years means that there are all sorts of positions to be filled, plans of organization being drawn up, causes for the new governor's wife, pending legislation in the state legislature, etc.
Not a word about any of this. I believe Daniels is quite busy, but apparently the paper is not interested. Instead, they are overing a lot of stuff the democrat mayor of Indianapolis is doing.
Makes me glad I cancelled their paper back when they messed up the reporting on the Supreme Court decision in 2000.
Good morning.
Had a long layover in Atlanta yesterday on my way back from Maine. Had the opportunity to thank some troops on their way back to Iraq. These kids were pumped and anxious to return to their "family" in Iraq. They had been home on a two week leave and said they were shocked at the way MSM reported news from Iraq.......Said what's REALLY happening isn't reported. They were most pleased with the thanks, and said it was their pleasure to fight for people like us.
Jane....Caught a glimpse of Monsoor Ijaz on tv but didn't hear what he said.......Did you hear it? Just wondering if he said anything believable.
