Clapton needs to pick up his old SG or 335 for this. Cream just won't sound right on a Strat.

Our band found out where EC was recording (this was in about '74) and drove up to a studio on the Pac. Coast Highway. We got there just after EC had left, but they let us in the studio, and his guitar was still in the stand, with his pick ("EC") still stuck in the strings.

yep. he needs to find hisself a good 335, or at least a paul. besides, if he was going to use a strat he's already sold blackie and brownie anyway and using new high tech strats w/ midrange boosters ain't going to cut it...
