My baby sister and her husband like to cruise. This is a picture of the sister of my sister's boat. (got that)

They lost their house and three businesses in Hurricane Ivan and have been living on the boat. It is not as much fun without the endless margaritas and barracudas to club to death.

My hubby wants to take me on a cruise for our 25th anniversary- which will just happen to co-incide with our youngest son's senior year in high school.

My fantasy isn't the cruise (with food and sun and fun and men in short white shorts bringing me beverages with umbrellas and fruit.) Oh no. My fantasy is coming home to an empty house. AAAAhhhhh.

amusements such as archeological visits

I love to camp. My dream vacation is more Grand Canyon than Grand Cayman.

Come stay with us. Grand Canyon is about two hours away!

I love Grand Cayman and the turtle farm and the town called "hell." That's where I want to retire.

My best vacation memories were going with all 12 cousins (ages from 9-18!) with a bunch of uncles camping out west. 10 days total perhaps.

Camped first at the top of the Grand Canyon after getting to north AZ. Hiked down Bright Angel Trail the next morning, camped overnight next to the river at the bottom of the Canyon, then hiked back up to the top on the other trail.

beautiful. Absolutely beautiful trip!

There were a lot of other things we saw: Meteor Crater, Mesa Verde and ruins, Canyonland National Park, painted desert, White Sands, mine trips and tours, Four Corners marker (good for ten minutes of looking!), Petrified National Forest, Rocky Mountain National Park...

But the Grand Canyon was the best.
