How many more hours do you have?

Until sometime Sunday afternoon/evening.

I want the rain to be GONE....it's supposed to, but the wind is also supposed to pick up and be wicked tomorrow.

My plan is/was to take the girls to see the Veteran's parade tomorrow and then hit a couple of craft fair type things....but only if the weather will permit it to my standards. wind, cold, or rain means it won't happen.

But I've got not only a plan B, but, C, D, E..........and all involve in the kitchen, so won't get in hubby's way with the work he has planned for tomorrow - which also has much to do with the weather.

Okay, you two-all your talk about rain last night seems to have chummed it in here-44 and it just started raining-now I have an earworm-Guns and Roses "Cold November Rain". I think I'll try to banish it with another cup of coffee and a favorite book...

No, but I was sure ready to do it to THEM last night!!!

It was nearly midnight when I was finally 100% sure they were down for the night......and both were up long before 8 bugging hubby for breakfast....I went back to bed at that point. LOL!

I finally got up aafter I kept hearing "is jax mom up yet?"

Apparently they wanted a bath and hubby wanted no part of there being any kind of comment made like "Jax' daddy gave us a bath." They are currently happily (and quietly) playing in the bathtub!!!!!

It's a raw, gray day here, and tomorrow is not supposed to be any different. the weatherman lied again.

When the girls get out of the tub I'm going to take them up to the dollar store to buy some watercolors and then set them at the table to paint.

Later, or tomorrow, I've got all the necessary ingredients for them to make candy and bake some cookies.

i think puberty is the magical event that triggers that SLEEP gene. xsteen and xsboy do NOT want to get up. xsbrownie pops right up.

painting and baking sound like good plans, but you forgot the earplugs for the nonstop yammering! I always wondered what it would be like to have kids that just chatted quietly with each other and played a nice board game or read to each other. i know i suppose that would be mutant behavior!

ROFL!!!!!!!

They are now out of the tub, they didn't flood the bathroom too,too badly, and are back in Jax' room.......I swear it's going to take me a month to get that mess straightened out!!! but as long as they keep the door closed and I don't see it..........well you understand!

Raining (with thunder and lightening, yet) and 45 again here-it rained off and on all night-I guess I'll catch up on my crochet and putting together garage sale items today. Hubby was going to paint the shelves he just put up in the shop this morning, but that is out now.

Are you still surviving Jax and her visitor, or are you now bound and gagged in the barn?

I was just downstairs trying to decide what to thaw for supper-it was between pot roast and pork chops smothered with onions-pork chops won.

There is a thunderstorm going on with a northeast wind that are blowing rain on the roof so hard that it is deafening-it is also whipping up actual breakers on the water-do noreasters happen over fresh water? I hate storms up here on this cliff-it is scary...

The girls still don't have me bound and gagged in the barn (yet)..........but I guarantee I'm going to be in bed by 8 tonight!!!!!!!

I haven't even given tonight's dinner a thought yet.......with the way I feel right now, hubby can make that decision when he gets home from work....most likely it will consist of microwaving burritos or tamales!!!!

The sun is shining - but it's only 36 here.....Brrrrrr, I'm cold.

I don't think the type of water has anything to do with nor'easters........wind coming from the northeast with cold temps is all I think that matters.
