We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
It is said, the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist. Arafat has now become a good terrorist.
In Fallujah:
United States forces have been hitting terrorist positions in the southern part of this city with air strikes and precision artillery bombardment. This is said to be in preparation for a ground assault in this sector.
Three US soldiers have died, and 17 more wounded in the last 24 hours of fighting.
The Iraqi commander on scene has reported the capture of "hostage slaugherhouses."
The northern neighborhood of Jolan has been turned over to Iraqi forces by the Marines.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I am here at Trill's, but I've got a lot to do, I'll be back later.
It was a good couple of flights, except that the taxi at DFW was longer than the flight from Fayetteville to Charolette. ;>)

Except for the dining room. We think squirrels got the cable.
And then there's the WI-FI....

I don't think I have watched 60 minutes for 20 years !!!
I understand the movie that Rather reviewed/etc is excellent. on my "list" to see. with about 8 others at this point. The campaign activities have cut severely into my "movie-ing"
despite my lack of normal TV watching I did get an email indicating there would be a PBS broadcast /natl geographic variety on Arlington. I did see that. I have been to Arlington about 6 times & love it dearly... I learned a few things I did not know from special.. but drat the commercials.
RE: all the controversy on Saving Private Ryan. For the life of me , I cannot understand how any intelligent, sane person can enjoy a movie on network TV with the continual interruptions of commercials.
for 3 dollars you can rent the DVD & enjoy it with good pix/sound & no breaks. I own the DVD - it is an excellent movie & I say to those who don't want the violence.. you need to see it. It is reality of war. Those of us who support our president & this war need to understand the severe sacrifice our men/women make. This flick could be Iraq now. Same situations. same injuries. same brutal deaths.

okay.. thanks bev. you gave me the opening for a "haha" that I received & wanted to post.. but wasn't sure what thread...
from my very dear friend ( conservative republican) who is a stay at home mom despite the fact she is a MEDICAL DOCTOR.. she is one of my biking buddies.
@@@@
Jesus and Satan were having an ongoing argument about who was
better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.
Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job."
So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.
They moused.
They faxed.
They E-mailed.
They E-mailed with attachments.
They downloaded.
They did spreadsheets.
They wrote reports.
They created labels and cards.
They created charts and graphs.
They did some genealogy reports.
They did every job known to man.
Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than
hell.
Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly
flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off. Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed.
Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted
their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming: "It's
gone! It's all GONE! I lost everything when the power went out!"
Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files
from the past two hours of work.
Satan observed this and became irate.
"Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he
has all his work and I don't have any?"
God just shrugged and said,
"Jesus saves."

John when you said "miss the cats" I had to laugh about a situation of stupidity/miss the cat.
I was in Japan & Hong Kong for R & R with a group of officer wives with our hubbies in VietNam.
after 6 weeks in the orient, I was en route home & had a 12 hour "connection" in Hawaii. I could have stayed as long as I wanted virtually free.. but left because I was worried about my white Persian "fluffy" who my folks were "babysitting".. when I got home, cat just looked at me & walked away - it was at this point I realized I should have stayed at LEAST a week in Pearl Harbor etc.
Oliver(my bow wow) goes crazy if I am away from him for 2 hours.. would think it was 2 years

Dolly, dogs have no sencse of time....cats do. When you have the audacity of leaving them alone or with someone other than yourself, they "get even". I would be ignored for at least a couple of days by Lishan and Sefu would tear something up and ignored when they were in the care of someone else, which was seldom. Cats only pretend they are independently, but they are dependent, just like some of us girls. I love cats.

Morning, the rooster woke me up, he got the dogs barking, the house cat got nervous, the coffee is brewing, a little chilly out and watching a mess in the making at the funeral of Arafart, otherwise it is going to be a good day.

Good morning. It's a rainy, cold morning here and I'm watching insanity on FNC as Arafat's body is delivered to Ramallah.
