I think Toby and I know exactly how your friend feels. I have days when I wonder why the Lord didn't take me when he took Larry. Encourage your friend to attend church and check with your local Senior Citizens group - in mnay areas, there are meals at local churches each day of the week. After lunch, there are Bingo games, or a bridge table or two and some just plain "chat" areas. He needs to get out of the house.
Please tell him for me that it is OK to have a PITY PARTY, but...he must clean up afterwards:-)

For anyone who EVEN starts to feel yucky....please start using Zi-Cam or Airborne......they are both terrific and literally stop cold/flu symptoms.

It is tough Bev.. each situation is so different. some people are so much stronger & resilient than others. Each persona comes with individual life long baggage, needs, desires. Having worked extensively with seniors over the years, I know how much this can hurt & how difficult it is for some to move on... as do you from a professional as well as personal way
If I have any area of expertise, it is in the area of grieving/death/healing.. no easy answers. No one size fits all. Those who don't relate now, will eventually. Real grief & pain is there. Fake is easy to see. Real will break your heart. Fake is disgusting.
