I use Maxthon. You can find it on http://www.maxthon.com/en/index.htm Much better than IE and it works better with Java than Firefox. Although Firefox isn't bad, Maxthon is a bit better IMHO.

I'm willing to give it a try. Thank you for the suggestion.

Is it (presumably) impervious to the malicious code that attacks IE?

Thanks.

I use Maxthon.

Maxthon is the former MyIE2. I used to use MyIE2 at work (since company sites don't like Firefox and must have IE) but it was a little stiff. I have since swithced to GreenBrowser and it is MUCH better than MyIE2.

GreenBrowser is so much more configurable AND it does not require installation. It runs completely from one executable. If you want to get rid of it...just delete the directory. This one feature makes it the ideal browser to use on someone else's machine. Load it, run it and when done, just delete it. You should give it a try.
You can get it Here.
