No, our wedding anniversary was 1/3 and we also celebrated the anniversary of the day we met, 7/5. I was thinking that you and your husband were sharing an anniversary date with President and Mrs. Bush.

I like the kind of day you two are planning....nothing fancy, just let the day happen - those kind make the best memories.

Right now the day is happening without me. Sarah and her Dad have gone shopping. Hmmmm!! Maybe a surprise is in store. :-)

Wonderful work feeding our heroes. Do they realize how lucky they are in having someone who actually can cook?

Throughout the years I have NEVER heard any military type say a good word about the food. It's almost a given. Has anyone ever said "that's good"? Just curious.

---Wow! They also talk about how the liberals are smarter than conservatives - they can actually read books and can write. ---

Have noticed the rat party endlessly claiming intellectual superiority. I personally would like voters to pass a simple literacy test but notice which party seems to feel it is anti-democratic.

Just a query - how do you know who is "on line"? And how do you stay on?

Utah Girl and others once tried to teach me how to post but I failed. It involved that mysterious right click somehow. At that time had fairly antiquated Dell but upgraded recently and just this week got cable that seems faster and am trying to adjust to the modern world.

Also - when quoting from a post, you geeks can put it in italics. HOW?

Thanks

I just drove past a local realtors office which had a big sign out front:

"Thank God for George Bush and 4 more years!"

Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. I'd imagine a few dedicated leftists have come down from the north, taken one look at that sign and moved on to another realtor.

Has anyone ever said "that's good"?

I worked mids for several weeks and then moved to a different shift. The guys on midshift actually get on their cell phones and call their shops to let their buddies know when I'm back on midshift. They know who takes care of them.

I really care a lot about those kids. They are what makes the US military the very best on the entire planet.
