Isn't that funny....this morning I had to order a new wooden Thomas engine for my little guy for his 3rd birthday....he carried around the old one so much it got lost. I shudder to think what the Brio/Thomas investment we have is (could it be as much as a couple thousand? I hope not! But possible!)
Flylady is all about keeping your house clean in 15 minutes at a time. Make sure the kitchen is clean every night, and boom! You are pretty much done. The house "cleans itself".
This only works when the kids aren't home all day!!!
Anyway, we moved a couple of years ago, and I was MERCILESS in my pitching out. If I didn't LOVE it, out it went! My house is blessedly bare. Now...I really COULD use some color on my walls, but I am decorator-challenged. I didn't get that gene.
okay, you made me feel worse, bc i know i am undersestimating the amount of $$ lost by him giving it away. xsboy was a HUGE fan of thomas, we had a TON of it, and i had forgotten how much it cost. xsboy had a thomas room, with a thomas bed, bookcase, sheets, etc. every video, every EVERYTHING thomas, and thomas even came to Union Station and we went to see him. we still sing the DO DO DO DO DO DO, from the theme song, and imitate ringo saying HA HA HA GUFFAWED THE CARS. and my husband gave away all that crap. i am sick!
