However, Condi has repeatedly said she doesn't want it.

I think he's gone. But you get an extra A+ for showing the POS how the game is played in here.
He better not try playing dodge ball in here. He'll be crying all the way home.

Just as Miss Rika especially picked out yesterday's word, I picked out today's word in the same manner.
You get an A+, Dutchgirl. And thank you!

I have a friend that swears flylady keeps her organized.
Sorry about the train set. The worst part of that story was the sorting mom who scarfed it up. Maybe you should relegate him to sports equipment and nothing that you might want to save because you know how he loves to bag stuff up and get it out of the house.

to be honest, i don't know that she did, but i am thinking of one woman that i know that has 5 kids and the youngest is a boy, i am betting she took it and i don't blame her. that is the incentive to help with the sorting, they get first dibs on the stuff that comes in and i am sure that she gave a nice amount of $ for it, though nothing like what it was worth.

Well, about the Thomas set....try to look at it from the point of view that it will be loved by another child, and that you are blessing someone else with it.
I help with the Parish white elephant table, and last year the older ladies that I work with made me buy (for $1.50) a very "loved" (read, dirty) American girl doll. My daughter already had one that she never played with....but they insisted that I needed to buy her. Well, I brought her home, cleaned her face with a cotton swab and alcohol. My daughter named her "Mallon" and it is her favorite doll. (What do I do with the one I paid $80 for????)

I love BIG dogs for a different reason. They usually (not always) have sweeter personalities. My Great Dane used to sit or plop on anyone's lap who allowed it. He was one big dog who thought he was small. He was only 180 pounds.
I will not get another dog who sheds, ever, ever and never.
For some reason my old dog and the cat seem to be getting along better. Something is up with that.
