Thanks for the explanation. I agree that we need to finish the anaconda/pincer/boxing in operation around Iran. If we can finish the job with little risk to our guys, so much the better. I have it in for the Syrians and the Lebanese since they were responsible for the Beirut bombing in '83. Iran has been asking for a spankin since the late 70's with the hostage thing.
I feel for your old unit. They took away their tanks and gave them humv's. Sad state of afairs...nothing like armor and firepower. The kids need all the help they can get now in Iraq.
