HI msdrby! hope all is well your way!

you wouldnt happen to have a recipe for something called Italian pralines..or pine-nut pralines with candied orange peel? I saw the recipe on Molto Mario some years back but I lost the recipe I printed up from his site. I looked for it in his archives and its not there!

Hi!

I don't have a recipe for that, but I found this:

" For Pine Nut Praline
¼ cup sugar
2 Tablespoons water
¼ cup pine nuts
In a medium heavy-bottomed sauté pan, combine the sugar and water. Place over medium heat and cook until the mixture is golden brown, about ten minutes. Swirl the pan to distribute the caramel. Stir in the nuts and pour onto a lightly oiled baking sheet. Let cool completely and then coarsely chop. Store in an airtight container until ready to use."
