Well, when we were babies.... our moms were told a little wine while breastfeeding would settle the baby at night ;~D
Kim and my Hobbit Hole friends,Wow! How do I begin? A short time ago I received an incredible knife and letter. I was actually out of town for a few days for a conference (I think?) and when I got home my wife told me, You got this awesome knife in the mail from the Hobbit Hole! Im sitting here reading the letter again and the same chills just ran up and down my back just as Im sure they did the first time I read this letter.
I am speechless accept to say, Thank you. I am overwhelmed by your generosity and heartfelt support. What an incredible knife! A few weeks ago, we went to the field, and I had on my vest (that carries all of your ammo pouches, etc. though for me they are usually filled with a Bible and candy) and clipped to the outside of my vest was my other Hobbit Hole folding knife. One of my superiors asked we, Chaplain, what are you going to do with that knife stick somebody? I laughed and said, Hopefully I wont have to stick anything accept for an MRE. Some of the paratroopers get a kick out of seeing their Chaplain with a knife.
The last couple of weeks I have had the privilege of showing several paratroopers the incredible knife that you sent. Their response was always something like, Wow, that is an awesome knife!
I cannot express how appreciative and grateful that I am for all of you. Thank you for your generous support and encouragement for myself and the Renegades. Most of all, thank you for your prayers.
May God bless and keep you as we celebrate the birth of Gods Son, Jesus!
Merry Christmas,
