I came home to find that my cousin has found his collection of miniature lighthouses, pictures of lighthouses he has taken himself, a sort of cloth hanging about lighthouses, and a set of dishes and a dishtowel with a lighthouse theme, and scattered them thru the apartment...

I am sorry brought up light houses in such a casual and insensitive manner. I had no idea your situation at home.

Lighthouses are almost as masculinely nautical as ships, I think...never understood why they became so popular in the girly parts of stores...

One of the pieces is a ship...the Nantucket Light-Ship.

I'm going to hang some stuff of my own, but it's more militaria (my own, thank you) and ancestral photos (our mutual Gt Gt Grandpa, of Civil War fame, and his lovely wife).
